Sweep Deep engineers mission-specific underwater systems rather than simply assembling drones. Founded by Alicia Dunn, the business combines open-source flexibility with industry-grade Blue Robotics components for invasive-species control, marine-debris recovery, and critical infrastructure inspection. Its approach centres on custom tooling—from disc cutters and grappling hooks to urchin cullers and spear guns—engineering-first hulls machined from solid 6061-T6 alloy for hydrodynamic and structural performance, and an open architecture that keeps each ROV repairable, expandable, and ready for future missions.
